Book signing at LeDuc Historic Estate

Book Signing with Rodney VanVleet, former Hastings resident, high school principal and social studies teacher on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at the carriage barn at the LeDuc Historic Estate, 1629 Vermillion Street, Hastings, MN.  Van Vleet has chronicled the life of Dr. C.P. Adams who joined the Union Army from Hastings.  He speaks particularly about the fierce battles around Gettysburg, Pa where 7,500 American were killed and where President Abraham Lincoln gave his Gettysburg address.  VaVleet will discuss what motivates him to write, his writing style, read passages from his book, sign & sell books.
