Estimator

Daley Electric is an established electrical contractor in the Twin Cities Metropolitan Area looking to add an Estimator to our team.
 
Job description and expectations:

• Motivated self-starter wanting to work in a team-based setting
• Effectively bid multiple projects simultaneously/independently in a fast-paced work environment and meet deadlines
• Ability to review subcontractor/supplier bids, proposals, and bill of materials
• Draft scope letters, change orders, proposals, and vendor solicitations
• Review and evaluate cost estimates
• Ability to analyze prints
• Demonstrate strong work ethic
• Detail orientated with solid organizational skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt with different work loads/expectations
• Effective communication skills to develop strong working professional relationships with co-workers, contractors, and suppliers
• Prefer working knowledge of McCormick Systems or other electrical estimating software
• Trade knowledge and familiarity of electrical codes and practices
• 2-year degree or history in the construction/ electrical industry
