Succession

The University of St. Thomas Family Business Center invites business families to a panel discussion and breakfast on Succession. This is a free event for first-time attendees and their business families. It’s on Friday, May 16, from 7:30-9:30 a.m. on the St. Thomas Minneapolis campus.
 
Whether you’ve been planning for succession in your business for years or are just starting to consider passing it to the next generation, the list of decisions you need to make can feel overwhelming. Hear from local families about how they have organized their estate planning, developed the next generation of leaders and what they consider when hiring next generation family members. Speakers are from fourth-generation Bailey Nurseries and fifth-generation McGough Construction.
