Dakota Electric: Careers in Energy Open House

Is hosting an open house on
MONDAY, OCTOBER19th
In order to provide students, teachers and parents with information about energy careers and their educational requirements. Examples of careers include: Electrical Engineer, Mechanic, Human Resources, Technical Electrician, Energy Services, Finance, IT/Software Development, Powerline Specialist, Distribution system operator, Marketing/Communications.
Representatives from Dakota County Technical College and Minnesota West Community and Technical College will be there to share degree information on careers related to the energy industry.
There will be two sessions: 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. for student groups/teachers and 5 – 7:00 p.m. for students/parents/general public.
There will be drawings for 2-$250 scholarships for qualifying students who attend the open house.
