Authors' Sunday at the LeDuc Historic Estate

Michael Resman & Heidi Langenfeld will be presenters for Authors' Sunday on May 4, 1 p.m. at the LeDuc Historic Estate. Resman will discuss his book, "Assylums, Treatment Center and Genetic Jails - A History of Minnesota's State Hospitals" and Heidi Langenfeld will give a synopsis of research & oral histories of people who worked at Hastings State Hospital and relatives of people who were patients at the hospital. Resman speaks from his personal experience as an Occupational Therapist at Rochester State Hospital. Heidi Langenfeld speaks of experiences in gathering information for the taped interviews. The project, was sponsored by Dakota County Historical Society and Hastings Community TV, partially funded by a grant from the Legacy Fund of the Minnesota Historical Society
